Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Nature of Payment

Factor Screener Pro membership is a one-time payment, not a recurring subscription. When you purchase a Pro membership, you pay once for the selected duration (monthly or annual plan) and gain access for that full period. There are no automatic deductions, auto-renewals, or recurring charges from your bank account or UPI app.

By making a payment, you agree to the plan duration and pricing displayed at the time of purchase. Payment is collected via UPI.

2. Refund Eligibility

You may request a refund for your Pro membership payment under the following terms:

  • Full refund: If you request a refund within three calendar days of making the payment, you are eligible for a full (100%) refund of the amount paid.
  • Pro-rata refund: If you request a refund after three calendar days but before your membership period has ended, you are eligible for a partial refund calculated on a pro-rata basis as described below.

3. Pro-Rata Refund Formula

After the initial three-day full-refund window, refunds are calculated proportionally based on the unused portion of your membership:

  • Amount Paid is the total amount you paid for the Pro membership.
  • Total Plan Days is the full duration of your plan (30 days for a monthly plan, 365 days for an annual plan).
  • Remaining Days is the number of days left in your membership from the date your refund is approved.

For example, if you purchased an annual plan for ₹1,999 and request a refund on day 100, your Remaining Days would be 265. The pro-rata refund would be ₹1,999 × (265 ÷ 365) ≈ ₹1,451.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Send an email to support@factorscreener.com from the email address associated with your Factor Screener account.
  2. Include your account email, the date of payment, and your UPI transaction reference or identifier.
  3. Mention the reason for your refund request (optional, but helpful for us to improve).

We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original UPI-linked bank account used for the payment.

5. Access After Refund

Once a refund is processed, your Pro membership access will be revoked. For pro-rata refunds, your access ends on the date the refund is approved (the Remaining Days are counted from this date). For full refunds within the three-day window, access is revoked immediately upon processing.

6. Payment Disputes

If you believe there has been an error in your payment or you have been incorrectly charged, please contact us at support@factorscreener.com before raising a dispute with your bank or UPI provider. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
